Nothing much to share right now, so here are some pics from the airport, the streets and in the hotel room because I hate seeing my blog so empty!

windy like whoa
Kelantan is so windy this time of the year it's like being at the beach 24/7!! The weather is just right though, not sunny and not rainy, just really really windy. My hair is perpetually in a tousled mess whenever I'm outdoors. Sometimes want to cross road also cannot see coz kena blocked by hair+eyes cannot open wtf.

We left for "lunch" right after we arrived at 9am lol. By that time I was already in a mangled mess due to lack of sleep and food. I was also in a very bad mood for the rest of the day coz we were forced to cramp 5 behind in my grandfather's ol' Honda :(

the old buildings give the street character, don't you think?
a simple meal
Something out of the ordinary about Kelantan is that the racial barrier almost doesn't exist, which is weird considering Malay and Islam plays a dominant part in the state. However in a Chinese kopitiam, Malay food are served so you can actually see Malay customers dining there. Provided of course that the food is prepared by Malay workers, but still it was quite an unusual sight to behold.
That's the end of my first day in Kelantan! Today was spent sleeping in till noon, and spring cleaning in my grandparent's place. I hope Chinese New Year comes soon! Gong xi fa cai!
